High School Teacher Jobs

A high school teacher instructs and teaches students subjects like English, mathematics, and science in High Schools. High school teachers normally begin with basics, and then try to rouse students' mental faculties with their own imagination, preparing a firm footing for their future. While junior high school teachers teach students of grades 7th to 9th, senior high school teachers instruct 10th to 12th grade students. Some high school teachers teach in bilingual schools specializing in languages, some train mentally or physically challenged children, while others opt to teach in homeroom classes meant for students who are unable to go to school. A few work as trainers in physical fitness and exercise classes.

A high school teacher is usually certified and may be required to give examinations for the job. Teaching courses from reputed institutions are also accepted for some positions. At least two years' experience combined with a relevant degree in education is preferred for a high school teacher job.
