Student Internship Jobs

A student intern participates in a program for one semester without pay, and is expected to meet or exceed time expectations to receive academic credit, and also maintain an accurate record of time spent in the office. A student intern undertakes activities within the organization and becomes knowledgeable about the operation of the office and seeks insight into the qualities, skills and knowledge that help a professional perform effectively. A student intern is expected to demonstrate professionalism in attendance, promptness and staff involvement and model appropriate dress, grooming and proper business etiquette. A student intern should maintain confidentiality of all records, forms, documents and information accessible during the internship, and should also attend all seminars and complete all written assignments.
A student intern should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or should have completed the freshman year of college before the internship begins. A student intern should have excellent written and oral communication skills. A student intern should possess ability to work independently as well as a part of a team with day-to-day changing deadlines and priorities. Qualities like superior analytical ability, technical versatility, and the ability to work well with clients are an added advantage.
