Auto Detailing Jobs

An auto detailing professional is responsible for cleaning, waxing, and polishing automobiles from both inside and outside. Typical duties of an auto detailing professional include receiving an automobile from the customer for detailing, taking notes of the various physical characteristics of an automobile, removing detachable components of the vehicle which might get affected in the auto detailing process, taking other safety steps to avoid damage to the vehicle, cleaning the dirt on both internal and external surfaces, applying wax and polishing the surfaces, and taking note of other service related aspects of the vehicle which require to be discussed with the customer. An auto detailing professional or auto detailer typically reports to the auto service manager.

An auto detailing professional should have an associate\'s degree or a high school diploma. Prior experience in auto detailing is advantageous. Excellent mechanical skills are essential.
