Nebraska officials say the state unemployment rate in November was unchanged from the revised October rate of 3.7 percent but that the rate is 0.4 percent higher than the rate in November 2007.
For Lincoln, the estimated unemployment rate rose 0.2 percent, to 3.1 percent in November. That's 0.4 percent higher than November 2007.
For Omaha, the estimated November rate of 3.7 percent was 0.2 percent higher than the 3.5 percent rate in October. The rate has risen 0.4 percent since November last year.
Omaha and Lincoln unemployment rates are not seasonally adjusted and are not compared with the state unemployment rate.
