Two years ago, BBDO Detroit had an estimated 1,100 staffers. About 220 were let go in early 2006 after a round of Chrysler cost-cutting.
Chrysler reportedly spent about $1.74 billion last year on advertising and marketing, but spending this year might not even reach $1 billion.
