Toledo lets 45 employees go

Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announced at a news conference the layoff of 45 employees.
The layoffs are made in an effort to save money from the city and decrease the city's 2009 budget. The layoffs include city government jobs, but do not include police or firefighters.
The mayor also said they are looking at other cost cutting options, but nothing has yet been approved.
The laid off employees will be given a 30-day notice next week.
