Customer Service Supervisor Jobs

A customer service supervisor is responsible for ensuring that quality customer service is provided by customer service representatives. Specific duties of a customer service supervisor include supervising customer service representatives, evaluating their time-to-time performance, working on customer service issues escalated by customer service reps, handling customer service issues of high net worth customers, guiding team members on quality improvement, allocating resources to customer service associates, setting customer service benchmarks, running customer service campaigns, promoting customer service atmosphere in the organization and performing other tasks assigned by supervisors. A customer service officer typically reports to a customer service manager.
A customer service supervisor should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Several years of progressively responsible experience is essential for a customer service supervisor role. Strong ability to motivate others is essential. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is essential.
