Writer Jobs

A writer job opening may be available with a publisher, newspaper, magazine, IT company, or any other company that publishes written work. A writer is typically responsible for writing small or long articles on the areas required by the publishing house. Specific duties of a writer include collecting required information on the area in which the write-up has to be prepared, sorting out the information in order to associate different articles, making a presentable, readable or attractive draft of the article, reviewing and editing the article for eliminate grammatical, conceptual or ethical shortfalls, getting the articles approved and forwarding the work to the printing department. A writer typically reports to the chief editor.
A writer should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in journalism or mass communications. Excellent academic credentials are required. Excellent writing skills are essential.
