Medical Device Sales Jobs

Medical device sales job involves the selling of various diagnostic and therapeutic medical products and services to hospitals, physicians, laboratories and clinics. A medical device sales person is chiefly responsible for attaining territory sales goals as well as any other sales objectives initiated by the management for maximization of profit.

Medical device sales representatives may also occasionally cover procedures in the OR, stand alone surgery centers and clinics. Supporting local and national distributors in their selling effort, providing sales forecasts, developing quotes and proposals for the assigned territory, providing technical product information, attending professional meetings and seminars to further the company’s promotion efforts and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations are also part of the job.

The minimum qualification required for a medical device sales job is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Prior medical or pharmaceutical selling experience is favorable. A candidate should be self motivated and should exhibit effective communication, computer, negotiation and organizational skills.
