Wedding Planner Jobs

A wedding planner job is essentially an event manager job for a wedding. A wedding planner is responsible for understanding the needs and wishes of the clients thoroughly. A wedding planner has to make wedding arrangements as per the budget planned by a client. Responsibilities include advising/ guiding clients on selecting the current trends and styles along with providing costs for same. A wedding planner is responsible for coordinating with other wedding-related work, like floral arrangement, retail sales (gowns, accessories, invitations, etc.), photography, and catering.

A wedding planner does not require any special degree. A wedding planner could come from a variety of backgrounds like event organizing, hospitality and catering, project management, marketing, or public relations. For a wedding planner every wedding is different. To be successful, a wedding planner has to be adaptable, creative, responsible, and self-motivated.
