Logistics Retail Jobs

A logistics retail position may be available with a shopping mall, retail store or any company in the retail industry. A logistics retail professional is responsible for ensuring that various supplies are transported inside the store and stored properly. Specific duties of a logistics retail professional include attending incoming goods in the store; ensuring proper storage of the goods received; coordinating with vendors; following up with outsiders regarding the delivery of goods; engaging in financial transactions; scheduling orders for the store looking at inventory levels; meeting quality standards in various logistics related activities and performing several other tasks as required. A logistics retail professional typically reports to a logistics manager.
A logistics retail professional should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant area. Excellent communications skills and the ability to coordinate with people from diverse backgrounds are essential.
