Ford's Cuts Continue Despite Profits
Profits or not, Ford Motor Co. still plans on cutting jobs. According to president and chief executive Alan Mulally,
"Our plan is working," Mulally continued. "Our initial quality is now among the best in the business, the restructuring in North America is taking hold, and we will continue to take actions to stay on our plan."
Mulally had no comment on the size of any further job cuts.
