If you are a in the job market for any reason - new to the job market, more income, or a position that offers more job security and health benefits - more people today can have the career they are seeking with all the added perks of being a 100k earner.

Most job seekers who look for 100k jobs do not realize the wide array of positions that are available in many different fields. The following will give you an idea of how many different careers exist that pay the money you are looking to find.
  • Executive
  • Management
  • Assistant
  • Vice-President
  • Program manager
  • Law firm
  • Health care
  • Business analyst
  • Sales
  • Engineering
This is only a small percentage of the jobs that pay 100k or more a year. Although many of the high paying jobs are in certain cities there are jobs where you can make over 100k all over the country. From Albany, New York to Baton Rouge, Louisiana there are careers in architecture, finance, sales, real estate, and the medical profession that will allow you to make the kind of money you need and want to make.

Dallas, Texas is a hotbed when it comes to 100k jobs. The high paying jobs that are available here range from vice-president of management, a CFO partner, an environmental protection specialist, and many directors of operations positions.

When you search for potential jobs within the 100k salary range, you need job descriptions that clearly state the education and experience requirements as well as the many benefits of the position in which you are interested. The clear, concise description of what is expected and what the company is looking for when it comes to the position being advertised is extremely important so as not to waste the time of the job seeker or the company looking to fill this position.

Many companies do not realize the importance of job descriptions. They are not required to be stated but in order to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the requirements should be stated. The essential requirements of a 100k job should be stated so the prospective employee will know if this is a position for which they want to apply.

There are many jobs that are available that pay 100k and more with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. The key is knowing where to find these jobs and how to apply for them. Unlike other jobs, six figure incomes are not being affected by the slow down in the economy. The large companies have what it takes to stay afloat until things get better. As a matter of fact, even more jobs that pay 100k and up are being added to the job market.

With the need for more unconventional types of jobs there has been a rise in the industries that pay 100k and more. Some you probably would not even think of as jobs that make over 100k are some types of teaching jobs, managers for gaming jobs, and research. Normally these types of positions would not be considered high paying jobs, at least not 100k and over, but the need for jobs that do not fit the typical mold are becoming more prevalent today.

These may not be your typical jobs as we used to know them but they are offering a great salary and many have extraordinary benefit packages. Some of the jobs are even 200k and up. This is a job market that is definitely worth looking into if you are considering what your career will be when you finish school. There are positions in finance, general management, and sales that are quite possible to make an income that you would never believe would be offered for these positions.

One such industry that you may be surprised to know is paying 100k and more is the business unit management industry. This is a position that requires a bachelor’s degree at the very least. The optimal candidate needs to have a background in business mathematics, computer applications, business law, and human resources for a start. Interpersonal communications is also a plus because this job requires the communication between employer and clients and staff. Because many companies want their business unit managers to be in on contract negotiations, they will be the ones who analyze competitor’s activity and the pricing guidelines.

Some may think a 100k job is hard to find, but the main thing is knowing where to look when you are the one in the market for this high paying job. The sheer number of new jobs that are being added are well worth the investigation into what ones are paying well before deciding on what to major in or study in college. The type of degree you will need and the extras that will impress a future employer need to be well thought out before you make the final decisions as to what you are going to study. If you want a 100k job and are willing to work toward it, this is certainly not as out of reach as you may think.

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
