"Whether they are a new graduate or experienced, we need them," said Gerald Bryant, chief nursing officer at Wesley Medical Center. "We need to continue to feed the profession. The nursing shortage is getting worse."
According to the Health Resources and Services Administration, all states will experience nursing shortages by the year 2015, and by the year 2020, the nation will be in need of more than 1 million nurses.
