Now, however, IT jobs are continuing to grow — and so are their salaries. And unlike during the years after the dot-com bust, when workers were looking for any kind of IT job, employers are now the ones recruiting them.
According to a recent salary survey, the average salary for a technology professional as of October 10 was $69,000, reflecting an increase of 2.8% since December 2004.
