Other sectors that suffered job losses include the manufacturing industry (down 11,000) and the construction industry (down 24,000). The real estate industry and credit intermediation industry also suffered job losses.
One thing that hasn't recently changed, however, is the unemployment rate. Despite economists' predictions, the rate stayed at 4.7% instead of reaching the predicted 4.8%.
