Recruiters are hinting as to what jobs will be hot in the new year by pointing out this year's trends: high oil prices and iPhones. Get ready, '08; jobs in alternative energy and mobile technology will be in demand.

Because of high gas prices, people are searching for other ways to fuel up. Alternative-energy companies, therefore, have arrived and created a need for workers in all areas, including marketing, HR, sales, accounting, and computer science.

Apple's iPhones and other similar devices have opened the doors for web developers as well. These workers are in such demand that entry-level salaries begin at $45,000 and can go as high as $110,000 for senior developers.

Other job markets that look strong for '08 include those of healthcare, retirement planning, and accounting. However, struggles in real estate and the mortgage industry continue, and the '08 job outlook in those sectors is worse than it was last year.
