"If you're a small manufacturer, and you wanted to grow your business overseas — and as a small manufacturer, the weak U.S. dollar might help you a bit — you might say I need to hire people to count on to manage relationships I'm starting with customers in South America or suppliers in China," said Challenger.
On the flip side, international tourism is growing in the U.S., which means that so is the hospitality field. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the hospitality and leisure sectors plan on adding 1.9 million jobs between 2006 and 2016.
