The jobs employees can find are in the retail and service sectors. Many stores and restaurants plan on hiring more staff come the New Year. Says Barger, "We have several mass hires already lined up, which equates to several hundred positions — part-time, full-time, and hourly positions."
Four Super Targets, a Wal-Mart, and a Kohl's will open in the Southwest Florida area, adding more jobs. Already, Wal-Mart has hired 100 employees and plans on hiring 50 more.
