Full-service tax-solutions company H&R Block announced Tuesday that job cuts are coming. No specific number of jobs has been released; however, the company hopes to know how many jobs will be cut by February, after its review and ''pending realignment of [its] cost structure.''

H&R Block has stated, "This review is designed to ensure that all of our businesses and support functions have a cost structure that helps the company to compete successfully in the marketplace at a fair return on investment, without weakening our ability to serve more than 20 million tax services and other clients each year."
