The moment the question of interview comes to mind, many become edgy. It is natural as that is the most important day in one's life. It is not unusual to make the most of it. So, a few things have to be taken care of. To begin with, be relaxed. Think of the success ahead.

Tips on Personal Presentation for a Successful Interview
Good preparation is needed for success at an interview. In fact, there is no limit for good preparation. That being done, personal presentation must be taken care of. In effect, one must sell himself at the interview as a good salesman sells his products. A product has to be well-packed to attract buyers. So is the case with those who appear at an interview.

One has to present himself impressive. Must be neat and well shaven. Bearded must trim their beards. Avoid strong scented perfumes as the interviewer may be sensitive to perfumes. Nails have to be checked and should be clean. Hair should be tidy. Avoid garlic or coffee before the interview to keep the breath fresh. All this is necessary as many make opinions about others by just watching them.

And now the interview. Entering the room, give a good handshake. It represents confidence. During the interview, don’t look down or at the walls. Look straight at the interviewer.

One’s posture as well makes all the difference. Sit upright but not rigid. Fiddling with hands must be avoided.

Speak softly. But one must be well heard. Appear pleased to be there.

Whenever a statement is made on personal attributes, be sure to back them up.

Throughout the interview your effort is to convince the interviewer that you are interested in the job and you are confident of handling the job well. Your body language should convey this message.
