One has to present himself impressive. Must be neat and well shaven. Bearded must trim their beards. Avoid strong scented perfumes as the interviewer may be sensitive to perfumes. Nails have to be checked and should be clean. Hair should be tidy. Avoid garlic or coffee before the interview to keep the breath fresh. All this is necessary as many make opinions about others by just watching them.
And now the interview. Entering the room, give a good handshake. It represents confidence. During the interview, don’t look down or at the walls. Look straight at the interviewer.
One’s posture as well makes all the difference. Sit upright but not rigid. Fiddling with hands must be avoided.
Speak softly. But one must be well heard. Appear pleased to be there.
Whenever a statement is made on personal attributes, be sure to back them up.
Throughout the interview your effort is to convince the interviewer that you are interested in the job and you are confident of handling the job well. Your body language should convey this message.
