Deciding on a career plan is often not the easiest of tasks. Using SWOT analysis can understand a career plan to be much easier for you. The symbol represents SWOT strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This planning method is most commonly used by budding entrepreneurs in developing a business plan, but can also be used to decide on a career plan. Strengths

Examine the current economy and future. How to link your strengths in this economy? Which of your job skills have the greatest power to ensure a solid future? Make a list of your career strengths that are in demand by top employers.



Weaknesses

With your list of strengths of the race, make a list of your weak areas. These employability skills are in demand by major employers, but are not (yet). Knowing your weaknesses is as important as knowing your strength when calculating a career plan.

Opportunities

As for your strengths and weaknesses of the race, think about where are the opportunities. Will you need additional studies or an apprenticeship? In case of change of residence? Does your current employer give opportunity to help you achieve your career goals? Draw your desired path is a crucial step on how to find a career.

Threats

No career plan is complete without an understanding of competition. You have to look at people in many other will be competing for the job you want. Is this a stable career option? After training required is hard work, there is not even a job opening available to you without hard work? The last step in finding a career is to take action. Network with people in the career they want. Do business contacts within the industry.
