Many wonder why should there be a wage gap at all. Reasons are many. Whether the reasons are situational, anthropological, psychological or sociological they are illogical in modern work environs. The main reason for the gap is that women are not negotiating money; many women detest marketing themselves.
A survey covering 500 women was recently conducted to find out what they do and don't do. Its conclusion is that women are not comfortable with negotiating compensation. Those who do it, they are not as effective as men.
