People are different; no one is exactly the same. Emotionally, physically, and phsychologically we all have a different blue print that make us individuals. With that being said, we also need to learn how to adjust and adapt to one another. One such relationship is that of a boss and is employee. A good employee has a great relationship with their current and previous bosses. As an employee, it is imperative to always have a good impression and working relationship at your office. Great bosses have this same mentality.

Understanding Your Bosses
They are good listeners, clear communicators and always make decisions that benefit not only the company but their employees as well. However, there are cases where you can run into horrible bosses. These bosses are all about "self". They do not care for the betterment of their employees; they only think of what is best for them. Several of the standard boss personalities are recognizable due to the fact that they have been commemorated in modern culture.

The trustworthy boss is playing the role as the ultimate risk taker. They always perform their work as if they are in a T.V. drama. He is a good communicator and guarded to others. They are really clever and do their work with excellence. They are the communication expert and provide appropriate direction for employees.



The egotistical boss is extremely self-centered. They see themselves as the supreme dictator rather than a leader. They do not care for any of their employees. They have very little empathy and do not provide sound advice. If you are an employee of such a boss, then you should follow the "CALM" method. It means, you should have good Communication, always Anticipate, Laugh as well as try to Manage to the best of your ability. If you want to make a great impression with your boss, then you need to communicate frequently with your boss. As an employee, you show good behavior.

The active boss always performs their work in a professional manner. They manage their work effectively. If workplace issues arise, they handle the situation in an easy manner. Sometimes they help employee to perform their work.

The pacer boss is the boss who turns everything into a competition. They thrive on competing and in order to increase productivity at the job they have their employees compete as well. They create a high standard that all employees must make. This is their goal.

Let Them Know You are the Boss

Do not be a tyrant. However, your employees need to know that you can be friendly but there is a separation between you and them. Be strong. The strength of a good leader causes a great following.
