The following pages contain an alphabetical listing of more than four hundred current occupations (including the professions) in the United States. Find your specialty in the list, or locate the one most similar to it. Next to each occupation is an initial indicating the recommended type of resume: B, basic; C, chronological; F, functional; and M, modem analytical. The number appearing after the initial refers to the page where the sample resume will be found. An asterisk signifies that a resume has been prepared for that occupation. The other resumes serve as a general guide to be followed. For example;

Agricultural Engineer, M Aeronautical Technician, C Industrial Designer,* F (155) Assembler, B

Details for the preparation of the four categories are given in the article which describe the various forms. Besides studying the individual resume cited, read again the whole chapter outlining the presentation of your background.



Of course you are at liberty to choose any type of resume you prefer. We have simply mentioned the type presently considered most appropriate to specific fields of work. Reviewing the chapter as a whole will doubt less spark additional ideas on how to enlarge or further adapt your own assemblage of pertinent facts regarding your capabilities.
