Handle legal matters tied to property development, acquisitions, and leasing within renewable energy projects
Draft, negotiate, and revise agreements such as purchase/sale contracts, site control documents, and related property instruments
Guide clients through real estate transactions, title curative processes, and survey analyses
Review and address title commitments, negotiate coverage language, and resolve title encumbrances
Interact with surveyors, title insurers, and other professionals to complete complex land use deals
Advise on real estate legal risks, insurance requirements, and land development strategy
Support clients in navigating the legal landscape of utility-scale energy site transactions
Collaborate with legal teams across disciplines and geographies to deliver integrated service
Minimum of 7-10 years of legal experience in real estate law
Demonstrated involvement in renewable energy project development preferred
Advanced knowledge of title insurance, curative instruments, and real property acquisition
Familiarity with negotiating and drafting a broad range of transactional real estate documents
Ability to independently manage projects and interface with clients
Admitted to practice law in Colorado
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active and good-standing membership with the Colorado State Bar (or eligibility for admission)
Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
High attention to detail and precision in transactional documentation
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions
Comfortable working in a team-oriented and cross-border environment
