A law firm in Hartford, CT is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3-8 years of experience and admission to the Connecticut Bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload and providing legal representation to clients in various matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Attend depositions, meetings, and client consultations as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Handle administrative tasks related to casework, including scheduling, billing, and file management.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
• 3-8 years of experience practicing law in a law firm or legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut state laws and court procedures.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience in litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
