Duties

• Handle civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies under senior attorneys' guidance.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Guide clients through the probate process, assisting with estate administration.
• Prepare probate documents and maintain accurate records of estate assets.
• Ensure compliance with probate laws and maintain professional communication with clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and court filings efficiently.
• Stay updated on changes in state laws affecting litigation and probate matters.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred, but applicants with less experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission.
