The ideal candidate will help clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations. This position requires 3-5 years of experience and a highly motivated, dynamic, and creative individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. Membership in the DC State Bar is mandatory.

Job Details:

  • Advise and represent clients on cybersecurity and incident response matters.
  • Help clients navigate complex data protection regulations.
  • Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents related to cybersecurity and privacy issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective strategies for managing cyber threats.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
  • Guide data breach response and mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings and negotiations related to cybersecurity issues.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences and seminars to stay informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity law.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Membership to the DC State Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Superb oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and dynamic individual.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the DC State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
