A law firm seeks a qualified attorney to join its Energy Department in the Bismarck office. Duties

• Handle real estate transactions, with a focus on issues related to energy projects and oil & gas operations.
• Assist in navigating regulatory compliance and related legal matters in the energy sector.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel to support their business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve complex legal challenges effectively.
• Stay up-to-date on legal developments, energy regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Prior legal experience, particularly in the energy, real estate, or regulatory fields.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to draft complex legal documents with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing workload.
• Ability to handle a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of legal practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with the ability to promptly obtain licensure in North Dakota.
