Associate Attorney needed for Bismarck office

Profile

A law firm in Bismarck is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to assist senior attorneys in managing litigation matters while developing their own practice through a well-established partner track.

Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the North Dakota State Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Dakota State Bar or eligibility for admission.
