A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transaction Attorney in Sarasota, FL. This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on real estate transactions, providing hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties

• Handle residential and some commercial real estate closings, including issuance of title insurance.
• Draft and review residential and commercial leases.
• Work on real property sales and acquisitions.
• Draft and review purchase and sale agreements and related transaction documents.
• Review surveys and title commitments.
• Communicate regularly with clients, realtors, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
• Manage multiple transactions while meeting strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced workload with strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and third parties.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Working knowledge of TRID requirements.
• Preferred: Experience with 1031 exchanges and FIRPTA.
• Preferred: Experience with Closer's Choice software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Florida.
