Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join its litigation practice in Warwick, RI. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in catastrophic injury cases. Connecticut bar admission is required, with Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island admission strongly preferred.

Duties

• Interview witnesses and identify and engage experts.
• Draft motions and pleadings.
• Assist with and/or take and defend depositions.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or insurance defense.
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Connecticut bar admission required.
• Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island admission strongly preferred.
