A law firm seeks an appellate attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team, focusing on civil appellate and insurance coverage matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the managing partner and gain valuable experience in appellate law.

Duties

• Research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Conduct case assessments and identify legal issues.
• Manage client reporting, billing, and legal deadlines.
• Meet or exceed a monthly billable hour goal of 180 hours.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal procedural rules.
• Ability to work collaboratively or independently.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Member of the State Bar of Texas.
