The candidate will draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, notices and subpoenas. Prepare witness and file materials for attorney review. Conduct various document searches and factual research utilizing Westlaw and social media. Assist with preparations for hearings, mediations, and trials. Index and maintain files. Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize medical records. Organize and prepare exhibits, files and all other supporting documents for trial. Summarize depositions and discovery responses. Schedule and prepare for depositions. Should have 2-4 year degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal program. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed. Proficiency in Word, Excel & Adobe Acrobat Pro is required. Works collaboratively with others. Should demonstrates teamwork. Should be detail oriented.
