Conduct legal research and provide statutory, regulatory, and case law analysis
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Participate in strategy development and trial preparation in collaboration with senior attorneys
Interview clients and witnesses to gather evidence and prepare case files
Provide risk assessments and legal advice based on case evaluations
Maintain accurate documentation and client communications throughout legal proceedings
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members
Delegate tasks appropriately to paralegals and legal assistants
2–5 years of litigation experience
Ability to handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, commercial liability, insurance defense, and related matters
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Willingness to travel for depositions, hearings, or client meetings as needed
Availability for evening and/or weekend work when necessary
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the state bar (Alabama and/or Florida preferred)
Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
Strong knowledge of both substantive and procedural civil law
Skilled in using legal research databases and case management tools
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in client representation
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
