Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in automobile defense litigation. The ideal candidate should possess a JD from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in New Jersey and have a proven track record of handling automobile cases from inception through trial. Preference will be given to candidates participating in at least 10 jury trials.

Duties:

• Handle automobile defense litigation cases from inception through trial.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to automobile cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• 3-4 years of experience in automobile defense litigation.
• Proven experience handling cases from inception through trial.
• Strong understanding of New Jersey court procedures and rules.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
