A law firm seeks an Employment Attorney to join its team in Lancaster, PA. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of legal tasks, supporting the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trials when necessary.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• 4-6 years of direct PA Employment law experience.
• Ability to handle all aspects of the workers' compensation litigation process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.

Skills
