Job Overview:
A well-established and fast-growing law firm is seeking a highly skilled Plaintiff Appellate Attorney to join its litigation team in Boca Raton, Florida. This full-time position focuses on appellate litigation in personal injury and first-party property damage cases. The role includes preparing appellate briefs, delivering oral arguments, and providing legal trial support. Ideal candidates will have extensive appellate experience, strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and a commitment to advancing plaintiffs' legal interests.

Location:

• Boca Raton, Florida

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of appellate cases, including legal research, motion practice, and brief writing

• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts

• Provide on-site legal support during trials, including real-time analysis and issue spotting

• Assist trial attorneys by reviewing substantive filings and advising on post-judgment matters

• Collaborate on litigation and appellate strategy across case teams

• Maintain a caseload of approximately 10–20 active appeals

• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as needed

• Monitor changes in appellate law and advise the legal team accordingly

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in appellate litigation (plaintiff-side preferred)

• Proven ability to manage multiple appellate cases under strict deadlines

• Experience providing trial-level legal support and post-judgment analysis

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
