A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and provide advice on legal transactions. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Florida.

Duties

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
• Draft substantive pleadings and perform appellate research.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other attorneys.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to law practice.

Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 5 years of personal injury and civil litigation experience.
• Experience as a prosecutor or in medical malpractice preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills

• Excellent research skills, specifically utilizing Westlaw.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
