A respected, minority-owned law firm with a national presence is currently seeking an experienced Corporate & Transactional Attorney to join its legal team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in commercial transactions to contribute to a collaborative practice group serving a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, government entities, nonprofits, and real estate developers. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including:
Purchase agreements
Master services agreements
Terms and conditions
Letters of intent
Ancillary legal documents
Structure and advise on technology contracts, including inbound/outbound SaaS and software licensing agreements
Manage commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing deals
Advise on commercial lending matters such as syndicated and bilateral credit agreements (preferred but not required)
Oversee compliance with internal and client deadlines
Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on multi-disciplinary legal matters
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial transactional law
Proven ability to manage a wide range of legal matters with precision and efficiency
Capable of meeting or exceeding billable hours and revenue expectations
Reliable attendance and consistent communication with colleagues and clients
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Wisconsin or Iowa (required)
Additional licensure in Illinois or Indiana is a plus
Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills
Advanced document editing and organizational abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines
Collaborative mindset with a client-centered approach
