A law firm seeks a Family Immigration Attorney in Greenville, SC, to manage a full caseload of family-based immigration matters before USCIS. The attorney will conduct initial legal reviews, serve as the primary legal advisor, and ensure client advocacy through final adjudication. Professional fluency in English and Spanish is essential, and regular travel to USCIS field offices is required.

Duties

• Independently manage a full caseload of family-based immigration matters.
• Develop legal strategy from assignment through final adjudication.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor for assigned clients.
• Conduct interview preparation sessions and attend USCIS interviews.
• Prepare, review, and oversee family-based filings.
• Review all filings for legal sufficiency and completeness.
• Direct the assigned Legal Assistant on document collection and case organization.
• Conduct initial legal reviews and establish case strategy.
• Ensure compliance with USCIS requirements and maintain accurate case notes.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Minimum of two years practicing family-based immigration law.
• Experience independently managing immigration cases.
• Experience preparing clients for and attending USCIS interviews.
• Experience with VAWA, U visa, and humanitarian matters preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license with at least one U.S. state bar.
