A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney for a fully remote position based in the U.S. The role involves handling consumer protection cases, including individual and class actions, against financial institutions. The attorney will work independently with support from paralegals and collaborate with firm leadership and co-counsel.

Duties

• Draft complaints, motions, and briefs for federal court and arbitration.
• Conduct and manage fact and expert discovery, including depositions.
• Argue motions and appear in court.
• Develop legal strategies and case theories.
• Supervise paralegals and mentor law students and graduates.
• Conduct legal research on consumer protection laws.

Requirements

• 7+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Substantial federal court experience.
• Outstanding legal writing skills.
• Ability to advocate effectively in court.
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Must be based in the United States.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
