Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily handle court appearances, draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and provide strategic advice to clients in Family Law matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

• Make court appearances at motion hearings plenary hearings, and attend mediation sessions.
• Draft correspondence legal documents, including motions and briefs, and respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on complex legal issues.
• Maintain strong client relations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing in Family Law.
• Judicial Clerkship is preferred
• Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with legal software such as Easy Soft and MyCase (training provided).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong client relation skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
