A law firm seeks an associate with three to five years of experience to join the Bankruptcy and Reorganizations Practice Group in Wilmington, Delaware. The team handles insolvency-related matters for a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions, lenders, and investors. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills. Prior experience in bankruptcy through a judicial clerkship or large law firm is advantageous.

Duties

• Assist in representing debtors, creditors, and committees in business bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• Draft and review court filings, including motions, memoranda, and complaints.
• Conduct research and draft related correspondence, memoranda, and briefs.
• Manage discovery in contested matters and adversary proceedings.
• Participate in trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and trial exhibits.

Requirements

• Admission to the Delaware bar is required.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Delaware Bar Admission.
