A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with litigation experience to join their Wilmington, Delaware office. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Delaware Court of Chancery and a strong background in civil litigation at both trial and appellate levels.

Duties

• Engage in commercial, corporate, and securities litigation.
• Defend class and derivative actions.
• Represent special committees and advise on fiduciary duties.
• Handle federal and state securities fraud claims.
• Participate in bankruptcy litigation and corporate valuations.
• Conduct statutory appraisals and manage insurance acquisition transactions.

Requirements

• Experience in Delaware Court of Chancery preferred.
• Strong background in civil litigation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Delaware Bar.

Skills
