A leading law firm is seeking a highly motivated mid-level to senior-level Associate Attorney to join its growing Commercial Litigation practice in Wilmington, Delaware. The ideal candidate will assist in handling sophisticated litigation matters in Delaware’s state and federal courts. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile commercial disputes involving complex legal issues, including intellectual property litigation and business-related controversies.

Location

• Wilmington, Delaware

Duties

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts

• Work closely with litigation teams on cases involving national and regional clients

• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, and manage all stages of litigation

• Conduct legal research and draft detailed legal memoranda

• Participate in depositions, discovery, and pre-trial strategy sessions

• Support trial preparation and court appearances as needed

• Analyze legal issues involving intellectual property, corporate disputes, and commercial claims

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation

• Demonstrated interest in trial practice, including complex civil cases and IP-related disputes

• Experience in high-level legal research, analysis, and writing

• Prior exposure to federal and Delaware state court proceedings preferred

• Willingness to take the Delaware Bar Exam if not already admitted

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Delaware Bar preferred

• Candidates must be eligible and willing to sit for the Delaware Bar if not already admitted
