Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a patent agent in biotechnology.
- Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to biologics or large-molecule technologies.
- Experience in conducting searches and analyses for freedom-to-operate, IP due diligence, and patent landscape assessments.
- Registration to practice before the USPTO in good standing.
- Prior law firm experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
Education
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biological sciences, e.g., molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, immunology, genetics, etc.
Certifications
- Registration to practice before the USPTO.
