The Role
The Senior Claims Consultant provides claim strategy, consulting, and advocacy services to clients. The Consultant will be responsible for maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients while providing high level, strategic claim consulting. They also help support growth, innovation, and ensure execution of the claim consulting services.
The Senior Claim key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Technical & Strategic
Manage designated clients as primary consultant to provide strategy claim consulting
Advocate for clients for prompt, optimal recovery on claims
Ensure quality and consistency in executing high level claim services to our clients
Engage our global network of professionals as needed
Appropriate utilization of all systems as required
Work with others as necessary to continually improve quality and innovation
Monitor the performance of vendor partner’s services
Directly handle complex cases or special requests from internal and external clients
Evaluate data to assess claim programs and identity solutions to improve quality and performance
Promote collaboration and teamwork to produce comprehensive solutions to clients
Ability to prepare comprehensive coverage analysis
Growth and Retention
Support new business with sales presentations and RFP
Promote identification and sales of claim and risk control consulting projects and initiatives
Participate in strategic large client team meetings as required
Manage the quality and appropriateness of client service agreements
Ensure practice strategy alignment with Willis Towers Watson business plans
Regularly meet with Willis Towers Watson brokerage executives to ensure delivery alignment
Maintain direct relationships with key clients
Ensure appropriate program design and documentation including service scope alignment
Teamwork and General Skills
Help develop and execute the strategies of the practice
Promote and foster Willis Towers Watson culture
Manage the appropriate level of resources for your clients
Be a visible sign of professionalism and direction for the practice
Maintain local relationships with all major trading partners
Provide ideas and strategies that strengthen the practice .

Requirements
Approximatly 10 or moreyears of experience managing within the claims and risk consultingbusiness
4 year collegedegree, with additional levels of education a plus
Must haveappropriate licenses for their resident State
Knowledge ofConsulting, Insurance, and/or Brokerage business
Technicalknowledge of Claims with strength in General Liability, particularlyConstruction related claims, and Workers Compensation claims. Additional experience in Property,Employer Liability, D&O, Products, Energy, etc. is an added benefitbut not necessary for current role
Ability to uselogic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses ofalternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
The ability tobuild and maintain business relationships
Knowledge oflaws, legal codes, procedures and processes involving insurance / claims
Strongcommunication skills both verbal and written
Strongpresentation skills
