Duties

• Partner with experienced attorneys, support staff, and paralegals in a collaborative legal team setting

• Conduct in-depth legal research on workers’ compensation laws and stay updated on emerging legal developments

• Engage with clients directly, fostering strong relationships through clear communication and reliable representation

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and judicial proceedings

• Draft legal filings, including motions, memoranda, factual findings, pleadings, and opinions

• Analyze medical documentation and claim histories to build effective case strategies

Requirements

• 0-5 years of experience in legal practice, ideally within a litigation or administrative law setting

• Understanding of administrative law processes and workers' compensation systems

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

• Skilled in negotiation and dispute resolution

• Ability to engage confidently with professional clients and internal teams

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure in Missouri
